Las Chapas is a residential district in the far east of Marbella municipality, running along the A-7 coastal highway roughly 12 to 15 km from Marbella’s town centre. It sits between Elviria to the west and the protected Dunas de Artola nature reserve and Cabopino marina to the east, with the Mediterranean immediately to the south and low, pine-covered hills rising just north of the coast road.
