Geen haven, geen ligplaatsen, geen botensteigers. De dichtstbijzijnde echte jachthaven is La Duquesa, een paar minuten westwaarts in Manilva. Marina de Casares is de naam van een volgroeide urbanisatie aan het strand op de kust van Casares, tussen Estepona en Sotogrande aan de A-7, en als je eenmaal voorbij de misleidende naam bent, is het een van de adressen aan het strand met de beste prijs-kwaliteitverhouding op dit stuk kust.<\/p>\n<p>Wat je krijgt is een gevestigde, laagbouw gemeenschap van rijtjeshuizen en appartementen, ca. twee decennia oud, direct achter een breed stuk zacht zand met Blue Flag-water en een mooie rij chiringuitos. De tuinen zijn volgroeid, er zijn meerdere gemeenschappelijke zwembaden, een buurtwinkeltje en een bar op locatie, en de gemeenschapskosten zijn befaamd redelijk. De meeste woningen zijn ruime rijtjeshuizen met drie of vier slaapkamers in plaats van gloednieuwe torens. Sabinillas is op loopafstand, de jachthaven van La Duquesa een paar minuten met de auto, Estepona ca. 15 minuten, en Finca Cortesin, Dona Julia en Casares Costa Golf zijn allemaal dichtbij.<\/p>\n<h2>Wie woont er in Marina de Casares?<\/h2>\n<p>Britse, Scandinavische, Nederlandse en Duitse eigenaren, gezinnen, een paar thuiswerkers. Het is iets jonger en relaxter dan de omliggende wijken.
