De 9-holes baan loopt door wijngaarden, avocadoplantages, citrusbomen en struikgewas, wat een groene buffer vormt tussen deze wijk en het drukkere strandgebied eronder.<\/p>\n<p>De sfeer is gevestigd en ongehaast. Rijtjeshuizen en appartementen uit het midden van de jaren 2000 staan naast nieuwere bouwwerken, veel met uitzicht over de fairways naar de zee. Rustiger en meer priv\u00e9 dan de stroken aan het strand, maar het strand is nog steeds slechts een paar minuten bergafwaarts met de auto. Mensen kopen hier vanwege de gunstige prijzen en de rust.<\/p>\n<p>Een van de echte bonussen is het dorp Casares, het witgekalkte bergdorp op de kliffen, ca. 10 minuten over een kronkelende bergweg. Moors kasteel, een handvol traditionele tapasbars, een vrijdagmarkt en die ongehaaste Andalusische sfeer die de kust soms kan missen. Veel bewoners rijden regelmatig naar boven voor een uitgebreide lunch bij een bergventa of om te baden in de Banos de la Hedionda, de zwavelbronnen net onder het dorp waar de lokale bevolking al sinds de Romeinse tijd komt.<\/p>\n<h2>Wie woont er in Casares Golf \/ Casares del Sol?<\/h2>\n<p>Britse, Nederlandse en Scandinavische (semi)gepensioneerden die kochten toen de prijzen lager waren en zijn gebleven. Spaanse gezinnen uit de dorpen in het binnenland. Enkele jongere kopers aangetrokken door de gunstige prijzen en de flexibiliteit van thuiswerken.
