Letterlijk. Het ligt aan de zuidrand van Manilva, precies waar de provincie Malaga overgaat in Cadiz en het Sotogrande-landgoed begint, vernoemd naar de rotsachtige kaap Punta Chullera. Terwijl het grootste deel van de kust tussen Marbella en Sotogrande de afgelopen drie decennia is volgebouwd, is dit stuk op de een of andere manier rustig gebleven: laagbouw-urbanisaties te midden van natuurlijk struikgewas, met directe toegang tot enkele van de schoonste en minst drukke stranden aan de kust.<\/p>\n<p>Playa de la Chullera en Playa Punta Chullera zijn niet uw typische Costa del Sol-strand. Rotsachtig, als een inham, grof goudkleurig zand, lage kliffen, rockpools en water dat helder genoeg is om de bodem te zien. Snorkelaars, duikers en vissers kennen het goed. Op een heldere dag is de Rots van Gibraltar precies daar aan de horizon, en Afrika erachter. De landtong heeft nog de ru\u00efnes van een Nasrid-era wachttoren. Puerto de Sotogrande ligt op enkele minuten per auto, de jachthaven van La Duquesa op ca. tien minuten. Voor de prijs van een bescheiden appartement in Marbella kunt u hier vlak bij het strand wonen met Sotogrande\u00e2's golf, polo en jachthaven voor de deur.<\/p>\n<h2>Wie woont er in Chullera?<\/h2>\n<p>Spaanse gezinnen uit Manilva, Britse en Ierse gepensioneerden, Scandinavische en Duitse eigenaren van een tweede woning en een groeiend aantal thuiswerkers uit Noord-Europa. Sommigen pendelen naar Gibraltar, ca. 30 minuten verderop. Rustiger en meer residentieel dan La Duquesa. Mensen hier kozen voor privacy en natuur boven nachtleven.<\/p>\n<h2>Waar is Chullera?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Airport:<\/strong> Gibraltar (GIB) ca. 30 min. M\u00e1laga (AGP) ca. 1 uur via AP-7<\/li>\n<li><strong>Beach:<\/strong> Playa de la Chullera \/ Punta Chullera, directe toegang voor de deur<\/li>\n<li><strong>Supermarket:<\/strong> Mercadona en Lidl in Manilva\/Sabinillas, ca. 5 min<\/li>\n<li><strong>Scholen:<\/strong> Sotogrande International School (IB) ca. 15 min. Atalaya International ca. 25 min<\/li>\n<li><strong>Golf:<\/strong> La Duquesa Golf (ca. 8 min), Do\u00f1a Julia (ca. 10 min), La Reserva Sotogrande (ca. 15 min)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ziekenhuis<\/strong> Public and private hospitals in Estepona, approx. 20 min<\/li>\n<li><strong>Vervoer:<\/strong> Een auto is onmisbaar. Geen lokale winkels of commercieel centrum. Sabinillas ca. 5 min, La Duquesa ca. 8 min<\/li>\n<li><strong>Woningtypen:<\/strong> Apartments, townhouses and new-build villas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>In Chullera kun je genieten van het strand, dat bekend staat om zijn ondiepe wateren en gouden zand. Het is een populaire plek om te zwemmen, zonnebaden en watersporten te beoefenen. Daarnaast kun je er wandelen langs de kustlijn en de natuurlijke omgeving verkennen. Aan de kust tussen Puerto de la Duquesa en de grens met Cadiz, ca. 5 km van Sotogrande.<\/p>\n<h3>Is Playa de la Chullera een goed strand?<\/h3>\n<p>Een van de meest ongerepte stranden aan de Costa del Sol. Helder water, rotsformaties, kleine inhammen, veel minder druk dan Marbella of Estepona. Rotsachtig en met inhammen in plaats van een breed zandstrand, wat juist aantrekkelijk is voor snorkelaars en duikers. Strandwachten in de zomer.<\/p>\n<h3>Hoe ver ligt Chullera van Sotogrande?<\/h3>\n<p>Ca. 5 km. Een paar minuten met de auto vanaf Puerto de Sotogrande, wat het een optie maakt voor wonen nabij Sotogrande tegen lagere prijzen.<\/p>\n<h3>Heb ik een auto nodig?<\/h3>\n<p>Ja. Geen winkels, geen winkelcentrum. Sabinillas is ca. 5 minuten, La Duquesa ca. 8.<\/p>\n<h3>Is het geschikt voor gezinnen?<\/h3>\n<p>Voor gezinnen die van buitenleven houden, ja. Veilige, rustige stranden, Sotogrande International School op ca. 15 minuten afstand, speeltuinen in Sabinillas. Maar je hebt wel een auto nodig.<\/p>\n<h3>Kan ik naar Gibraltar reizen?<\/h3>\n<p>Ca. 30 minuten met de auto.
