Sotogrande Costa TREE-LINED AVENUES, SUMMER POLO, AND THE BEACH THREE MINUTES AWAY

What is Sotogrande Costa?

Sotogrande Costa is the original, low-lying coastal section of Sotogrande, the flat residential strip between the A-7 motorway and the Mediterranean, set just west of the Guadiaro river mouth. This is where villa life meets the beach: leafy, tree-lined avenues of well-established properties sit minutes from the sand and a short hop from the marina across the river. As the first part of the estate to be developed, it is known for its mature gardens, generous plots and a settled, understated elegance.nnSummer is when Sotogrande Costa comes alive. The polo season at Santa Maria Polo Club peaks with the International Tournament from late July through August, and the beaches and marina fill with a relaxed, international crowd. The area's own beach, Playa Sotogrande, runs west of the river estuary and is home to the Bunker Beach Club, while the wide, Blue Flag beach of Torreguadiaro, just across the marina, stretches around 1.3 km with views toward Gibraltar.
