Jimena de la Frontera is the hill town inland from Sotogrande, in the Cádiz countryside below the Alcornocales park. We list a finca here now and then, usually a large country property with land, for buyers who want horses, silence and Sotogrande half an hour away.
This is rural Andalucía, not the coast. Properties are fincas and village houses, the paperwork often includes land registry and water rights questions that coastal apartments never raise, and the buying checks take longer.
