The residences range from 1,045 to 1,385 square metres and are arranged over four levels: basement, ground floor, first floor and an accessible rooftop with solarium. The low position of the entrance level integrates the arrival into the home with the garden.
Each property has a generous private garden and a lagoon-style pool linked to a private swimming pool. Pedestrian paths dotted with pomegranate trees lead to the entrances, while an independent road-level driveway goes directly down to the basement parking. The landscaping incorporates a combination of colours and scents inspired by the gardens Karl Lagerfeld appreciated.
Inside, the glazed openings of the day area frame the gardens. A double-height space connects the open-plan living area with the upper floor, and the geometric staircase, panelled in brushed steel, is one of the central elements of the design. The bedrooms sit below the ground floor, with access to the outdoors, while the basement houses a gym, spa, home cinema and family areas.
The selection of materials expresses the KARL LAGERFELD aesthetic through contrasts of brushed steel, black and white terrazzo marble and dark wood. The project also incorporates a reflective synthetic ceramic finished with white gold dust, introducing changes of reflection and tone across the surfaces. The steel pieces and elements are resolved through welding, with no visible screwed joints.
A custom bookcase in the living room, made from recycled wood panels, is a direct reference to Karl's passion for books. It is a detail tied to his personal universe, alongside the contrasts of materials and the treatment of the furniture. Terrazzo and wood are used both outdoors and indoors to give continuity to the living areas.
Natural materials form part of the project's approach. The house of KARL LAGERFELD will also develop furniture pieces and options for these villas, presented separately from the architecture.
The Golden Mile location combines Marbella's mountain surroundings with proximity to the Mediterranean coast. The gardens, orientation and arrangement of each residence determine its particular relationship with the landscape.
What sets it apart: there are only five villas. It suits buyers who want a stand-alone villa with a strong design identity rather than a home in a larger community. Because scarcity and the name are a large part of the price, it is worth comparing with non-branded villas of similar size on the Golden Mile.
Completion is scheduled for 2026.

Location
Marbella Golden Mile, Marbella
Marbella is the flagship municipality of the Costa del Sol, stretching 27 kilometres along the Mediterranean coast between the Sierra Blanca mountains and the sea. Its population reached 173,420 registered residents on the municipal roll (padrón) as of January 2026, up from 156,295 just three years earlier - a gain of over 17,000 people in three years, with more than nine in ten new arrivals coming from outside Spain. Roughly 36% of residents hold a non-Spanish nationality across 155 countries; Morocco is the single largest foreign nationality (over 6,100 residents), followed by large British, Colombian and Northern European communities.
Six distinct sub-markets make up the residential landscape: the western beachside neighbourhoods of Guadalmina and San Pedro de Alcántara, the golf-rich hills of Nueva Andalucía, the prestigious Golden Mile corridor, the historic old town, and the long eastern coastal strip from Los Monteros to Cabopino.

Can you live in Marbella without a car?
In Marbella Centro, yes. Playa de la Fontanilla is a walk down Avenida del Mar, the pedestrian boulevard lined with Salvador Dalí bronzes, the daily Mercado Municipal and a Mercadona are in the centre, and the two hospitals, Costa del Sol and Quirónsalud, serve the town. A car only becomes useful for the international schools, larger supermarkets and golf courses, which sit outside the centre. Marbella Centro guide
