Palo Alto is a boutique residential development built by Taylor Wimpey España in the hills above eastern Marbella, close to the white village of Ojén. The project is built around low-density, eco-conscious architecture: green roofs, natural stone facades and buildings designed to sit within the surrounding Mediterranean forest rather than clear it.
The development combines apartments, penthouses and villas with shared facilities aimed at residents who spend time on site rather than just sleeping there - a clubhouse, co-working space, organic garden and wellness-focused amenities sit alongside the residential blocks.
Because it sits inland and uphill from Marbella rather than on the beachfront, Palo Alto trades sea views and walk-to-beach convenience for quiet, forest surroundings and proximity to Ojén. A car is necessary for daily life here.

The AP-7 bypass behind Marbella, which Palo Alto overlooks, is getting 28 planted sound screens over 6.6 kilometres, a 13.1 million euro State project that caused lane closures through 2025 and into 2026, in our post on the A-7 works.
