Cascada de Camoján HILLSIDE VILLAS ABOVE THE GOLDEN MILE

What is Cascada de Camoján?

Cascada de Camoján is a villa estate on the lower slopes of La Concha, directly above Marbella's Golden Mile and east of Sierra Blanca. It takes its name from the Camoján stream, which runs down through the estate towards the sea. Plots are large, the streets are quiet and steep, and most houses look south over the Golden Mile to the Mediterranean and, on clear days, to Gibraltar and the coast of Morocco.

The estate has been rebuilt house by house over the last decade: the typical sale today is either an older villa on a 2,000 to 4,000 m² plot bought for the land, or a contemporary house finished in the last five years. Prices sit just below Sierra Blanca and well above Nagüeles. Our own listings here run from about 5 million to 11.5 million euros.

Cascada de Camoján in 2026

At the time of writing (October 2026) we have three villas tagged to Cascada de Camoján: a three bedroom at about 4.95 million euros, a six bedroom at about 7.95 million and a six bedroom at about 11.5 million, on our Marbella property page. The hill has become the branded end of Marbella. Armani Residences, 33 homes in nine low buildings on more than 50,000 square metres in Nagüeles next door, has its permit, construction from June 2026 and completion targeted for 2028, in our Armani Residences post, and the same pocket holds Design Hills by Dolce and Gabbana, EPIC and the Karl Lagerfeld villas. On the Golden Mile side we list Noura and Villas Lomas at Las Lomas del Marbella Club from about 6.4 million and Earth at Señorío de Marbella from about 5.65 million, on our Marbella new developments page. Below, the Senda Litoral now runs unbroken from Puerto Banús past Nagüeles beach to the Arco de Marbella, in our coastal path post, and how the Golden Mile came to be, from the Marbella Club in 1954, is in our Golden Mile history post. Marbella's prices rose more than 20 percent year on year in the first quarter of 2026 according to Tinsa, in our Marbella market post. The neighbours have their own guides: Sierra Blanca to the west, Nagüeles below, the Golden Mile on the coast, Marbella Centro to the east, and the town in our Marbella guide.

Who lives in Cascada de Camoján?

Owners here are mostly families and couples from northern Europe, the Gulf and, increasingly, the United States, who want the Golden Mile five minutes away and a house nobody can see into. Many live here for most of the year, and the international schools at the foot of the hill are a big part of why. It is a quieter, less showy address than Sierra Blanca next door, and residents like it that way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Cascada de Camoján?

On the hillside north of the Golden Mile in Marbella, below La Concha, with Sierra Blanca and the Marbella Hill Club to the west and the town's hillside neighbourhoods to the east. Marbella old town is about 3 km and 8 minutes by car, Puerto Banús about 15 minutes.

How much does a villa in Cascada de Camoján cost?

Our listings here run from about 5 million to 11.5 million euros. Older villas on large plots sell for the land and are rebuilt; new contemporary houses with sea views sit at the top of the range. Ask us for the current list, as stock here is small and moves quietly.

What is the difference between Cascada de Camoján and Sierra Blanca?

Same hill, same views. Sierra Blanca is larger, has more new build and the highest prices in Marbella; Cascada de Camoján is smaller, greener because of the stream, slightly cheaper and less visible. Buyers who want the Sierra Blanca address pay for it; buyers who want the hill pay less here.

Which schools are near Cascada de Camoján?

The British International School of Marbella and Swans International are both about five minutes away at the foot of the hill, and Aloha College in Nueva Andalucía is about 15 minutes.

Armani Residences is on Avenida de las Piedras in Nagüeles, the estate below and west of Cascada de Camoján, with 33 homes in nine low rise buildings, construction from June 2026 and completion targeted for 2028. The same pocket of hillside has Design Hills, EPIC and the Karl Lagerfeld villas.

How far is Cascada de Camoján from the beach?

About 2 kilometres, five minutes by car, to the Golden Mile beaches at the Marbella Club and Puente Romano, and the coast path runs from there west to Puerto Banús and east to the old town. Nobody walks it from the top of the estate; the streets are steep.
