Los Arqueros occupies a peaceful valley between the Benahavís road and the hills leading up to El Madroñal and La Zagaleta. The area is anchored by Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club, an 18-hole course designed by the legendary Severiano Ballesteros that follows the natural contours of a narrow valley with dramatic elevation changes and mountain backdrops.
The residential community surrounding the course is a mix of apartments, townhouses and villas, many with direct golf-course frontage. Puerto Almendro, the adjacent residential pocket, adds further villa plots to the south. Together they form a quiet, green enclave that feels remarkably secluded despite being barely 10 minutes from Puerto Banús and the coast.
Prices range from around €250K for a two-bedroom apartment to €3M+ for a frontline golf villa with valley views. The area appeals to golf enthusiasts, families seeking a quieter alternative to the coast, and investors attracted by consistent rental demand from visiting golfers.
Los Arqueros and Puerto del Almendro in 2026
The course is the constant. Los Arqueros is a Severiano Ballesteros design from 1991, par 71 and about 5,700 metres, tight rather than long, with three lakes, and in 2026 a green fee is 80 euros in low season, 90 in mid season and 110 in high season, with 10 to 20 percent off for booking direct. At the time of writing (October 2026) there are three tagged to Los Arqueros, four and five bedrooms between about 3.9 and 5 million euros, and two in Puerto del Almendro, a five bedroom at about 4.5 million and a nine bedroom at about 8.25 million, all on our Benahavís property page. People search for new developments in Los Arqueros and the honest answer is that there is no new project inside the valley in our stock right now. The nearest are Tiara at La Quinta Golf, from about 1.55 million, Solenne from about 1.2 million, Altura 160 from about 499,000 and Fuente Lirios in the village from about 395,000, with the full list on our Benahavís new developments page. What is Puerto del Almendro?
The villa area immediately south of Los Arqueros, on the same side of the Benahavís road, with larger plots and no golf frontage. It is tagged separately in our stock, where we list two villas at about 4.5 and 8.25 million euros. Residents use the Los Arqueros clubhouse and courts and share the same road to San Pedro de Alcántara.
How much is a green fee at Los Arqueros in 2026?
80 euros in low season (16 June to 31 August), 90 in mid season and 110 in high season (1 March to 31 May and 16 September to 30 November), with a discount of 10 to 20 percent for booking direct with the club. Buggies are extra.
