La Zagaleta EUROPE'S MOST EXCLUSIVE GATED ESTATE

What is La Zagaleta?

La Zagaleta is, by any measure, the most exclusive residential estate in Europe. Spread across 900 hectares of cork-oak forest in the Benahavís hills, it offers a level of privacy, security and natural beauty that has attracted royalty, tech billionaires, sports icons and heads of state. The estate is entirely private: no through-traffic, no day visitors, no commercial activity beyond the two clubhouses.

Two private golf courses, a helipad, an equestrian centre, 24/7 manned security with multiple checkpoints, and a maximum of 420 plots (many still undeveloped) ensure that density remains exceptionally low. Villas sit on plots of 3,000 to 15,000 m², typically surrounded by mature woodland that screens each property from its neighbours.

Prices for finished villas range from approximately €4M to €35M, with a handful of trophy estates exceeding that range. Building plots, when available, start around €2M. La Zagaleta is not simply a gated community, it is a self-contained world designed for those who value total discretion above all else.
