What is Las Brisas?
Las Brisas sits in Marbella's Nueva Andalucia Golf Valley, a cluster of independent villa plots built around Real Club de Golf Las Brisas — a course designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., opened in 1968, and later refreshed by Kyle Phillips. Unlike a single-developer gated resort, Las Brisas is a loose grouping of privately built villas and plots that share the golf club as their common reference point rather than a shared brand or master plan.
The course itself has genuine tournament pedigree: it hosted the Spanish Open in 1970, 1983 and 1987 (the last won by Nick Faldo), and the World Cup of Golf in 1973 (won by Jack Nicklaus and Johnny Miller) and again in 1989 (won by the Australian team). That history, rather than any marketing name, is what gives the area its identity among golf buyers on the Costa del Sol.
Location-wise, Las Brisas benefits from being inside the Golf Valley — a short run from Puerto Banus and its marina, and close to several of the area's other courses (Aloha, Los Naranjos, La Quinta) within Nueva Andalucia. Housing stock is almost entirely villas on private plots rather than apartment blocks, dating from a range of build periods as individual owners have developed and renovated over the decades.
Las Brisas in 2026
Real Club de Golf Las Brisas stays private: members and their guests, with a member introduction, a joining fee of about 35,000 euros plus 4,000 a year, and the strictest dress code on the coast with Valderrama, all in our golf courses guide. That exclusivity is what the villas are priced on. At the time of writing (October 2026) we have two tagged to Las Brisas, a four bedroom at about 3.9 million euros and a six bedroom at about 5.8 million, on our Marbella property page. There is no new development inside Las Brisas; in the valley we list Aloha Forest from about 1.15 million and Avenue Marbella from about 5.8 million, on our Marbella new developments page. Marbella's prices rose more than 20 percent year on year in the first quarter of 2026 according to Tinsa, in our Marbella market post. Below the valley, Marbella finished the coast path link between San Pedro and Puerto Banús this year, in our coastal path post, and La Bajadilla, the port on the other side of town, is being expanded from 268 to about 750 berths, in our post on the La Bajadilla expansion. The neighbours have their own guides: Nueva Andalucía for the whole valley, Los Naranjos and Aloha alongside, Puerto Banús below, and the town in our Marbella guide.
