Vad ar El Rosario?

El Rosario is a well-established residential area on Marbella's eastern coast, set between the coast road and the hills, between Los Monteros and Elviria. Most of it was built up during the 1980s and 1990s, and the area reads accordingly: mature gardens, shared community pools, and a mix of villas, townhouses and apartments rather than a single architectural style.

It is not a branded development or golf resort with its own developer — it's an ordinary, long-established urbanisation with a small commercial centre of its own, including a pharmacy, plus direct beach access and easy reach of Santa Clara Golf and the English International College nearby.

Compared with central Marbella or the newer developments further west, El Rosario offers solid value for the location: established communities, generous plot sizes for the era, and a quiet, settled character rather than a resort atmosphere.
