Casares Golf — also known locally as Casares del Sol — is a residential area wrapped around the Casares Costa Golf course on the lower slopes between the mountains and the sea. The 9-hole course threads through vineyards, citrus groves and Mediterranean scrubland, creating a green corridor that separates this neighbourhood from the busier beachfront below.
The area has a settled, established feel compared to the newer developments along the coast. Townhouses and apartments from the mid-2000s sit alongside more recent builds, many with views over the fairways to the sea. It is quieter and more private than the beachfront strips, but the beach is still only a few minutes’ drive downhill.
Prices here remain among the most competitive on the Costa del Sol. Two-bedroom apartments start from around €200,000, while larger townhouses and villas range from €350,000 to €800,000. For golfers seeking a home on a course without the premium of Finca Cortesín, Casares Golf offers genuine value.

Casares Golf is where the new build around Finca Cortesín spills into affordable territory.
