Valle Romano sits in western Estepona, on the coastal side of the AP-7, built around Valle Romano Golf — an 18-hole course designed by the golf architect Cabell B. Robinson. The clubhouse holds the Columela Restaurant, a golf academy, a practice area and a meeting room. It's one of the newer golf developments on this stretch of coast, with the course itself roughly a decade old.

Housing here is mostly modern apartments and penthouses in low-rise blocks built around the fairways, with some semi-detached houses and villas on the edges of the development. One recent phase added 144 apartments across six low-rise buildings with one, two and three bedrooms; other completed phases follow a similar low-rise format. Recent listings across Valle Romano span roughly from the high €200,000s for apartments up to several million euros for larger villas.

The area is close to the coast — Guadalobón beach is about 3 km away — and a short drive from Estepona's old town and marina. Within Valle Romano itself is Ona Valle Romano Golf Resort, an apart-hotel complex with its own restaurants, pools, gym and padel courts, alongside the golf club's own facilities.
